Building Local Beauty Since 1976
David Webster was raised in the Grand Traverse area and has a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the region. David started his construction business in 1976 with a focus and sensitivity to making productive use of existing natural resources present at a building site. David’s philosophy has always been to make positive impacts on the area we live in. He has the artistic vision to utilize unique features of the property to emphasize the natural beauty and character of the land by ensuring the proper placement on the site and by creating a strong connection between the land and the home. For example, David often uses trees growing on-site to produce beautiful, one of a kind details in the home, such as flooring, interior trim or ceiling timbers. Stones located on the property can be used for stonework or architectural details in the construction. If an existing home is slated for demolition, David will try to retain materials that many people would discard; he often incorporates antique fixtures, re-cycled timbers, hardware, mantels, etc. into the new construction. David Webster Construction has built beautiful luxury homes, with several award-winning designs in Leelanau County, on Old Mission Peninsula, Torch Lake, Traverse City, and the surrounding area. We have many repeat customers; most new clients come to us as referrals from past customers.
